Partick Swayze, "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost" actor has passed away Monday after battling illnesses.
"Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months," said a statement released Monday evening by his publicist, Annett Wolf.
In March of 2008, fans were shocked to find out that Partick was suffering from a form of deadly cancer. Despite the diagnosis, he continued to work and film "The Beast."
